Hi!  I'm a statistician and computer programmer. I currently work as a research scientist at the Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois Chicago. I also work closely with members of the d3center lab at the University of Michigan.
I graduated from of the University of Scranton with a bachelor's in psychology, and the Pennsylvania State University with a Ph.D. in statistics. My thesis advisor was Dr. Runze Li. I worked for about 15 years as a research associate and research associate professor at the Methodology Center at Penn State.

My main current statistical research interests are:
  • Interpretability in the analysis of intensive longitudinal data
  • Latent class analysis (finite mixture modeling)
  • Mediation with high-dimensional or longitudinal data
  • Experimental design and analysis, especially analysis of sequential multiple assignment randomized trials
  • Applications in substance abuse, mental health and other health-related research
I'm looking for new research opportunities to help develop statistical methods and apply statistics to practical problems.
